Two treatments delivered through one handpiece.

Morpheus8 drives a grid of fine needles into the skin and then releases radiofrequency energy from their tips. The needles create controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen repair near the surface. The radiofrequency heats the deeper layer, which is what causes tissue to contract and firm.

That combination is the reason it is used for laxity and texture at once. A microneedling pen alone works on surface texture. A radiofrequency device alone heats without the resurfacing. Doing both in one pass is why the downtime is a few days rather than a few hours, and why the result keeps developing for months after the last session.

Depth is adjustable, which matters more than the brand name. Skin over the jawline is not the same thickness as skin under the eye, and running the same setting across a whole face is how people get an underwhelming result in one area and too much reaction in another.

Whether this is the right treatment for you.

Worth booking if

  • Early laxity along the jawline, cheeks or neck
  • Acne scarring or uneven texture
  • Enlarged pores and general crepiness
  • You can commit to three sessions rather than expecting one to do it

Probably not if

  • You need significant lifting, which is a surgical result and not a device one
  • You have an active skin infection or breakout in the treatment area
  • You are pregnant
  • You need to look completely normal in the next 48 hours

What happens in the room.

  1. Numbing first

Topical anesthetic goes on and sits for roughly thirty minutes. This is most of why the appointment is longer than the treatment. Skipping it is not offered, because the treatment is uncomfortable without it.

  2. The pass

The handpiece moves across the area in sections, with depth and energy set per zone. Most people describe heat and pressure rather than sharpness. A full face takes roughly half an hour once numbing has taken.

  3. The next three days

Expect redness and a sandpaper texture, similar to a strong sunburn, settling over one to three days. You will be sent home with aftercare, and sun protection is not optional during recovery.

How it is run here: 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

  • I recently visited this amazing med spa and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I’ve completed my second of three Morpheus8 treatments, and the difference is incredible. My fine lines are completely smoothed out, my skin feels so much tighter, and my jawline is more defined than ever!

Morpheus8 questions.

How many sessions will I actually need?
Three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is the standard protocol here. Scarring or more significant laxity sometimes calls for more. You will be told which you are looking at before you start rather than after session three.
When will I see a difference?
Skin looks better within a couple of weeks, but the real change is collagen remodeling, which builds over about three months from your last session. Judging the result the week after is judging it too early.
How long do results last?
Commonly cited as up to a year, with maintenance sessions after that. How long yours holds depends on age, sun exposure and whether you keep up basic skin care.
Does it hurt?
With topical numbing, most patients tolerate it well and describe heat and pressure. The neck and jawline tend to be more sensitive than cheeks.
Can it be used on the body?
Yes. The same technology is used on the abdomen, arms and knees for skin tightening, using a different configuration than the face.
Is it safe on darker skin?
Radiofrequency microneedling is generally considered a reasonable option across skin types because the energy is delivered below the surface rather than being absorbed by pigment. Your clinician will still assess your skin and history individually.
What do I need to do afterward?
Keep the skin clean, use what you are given, and stay out of direct sun. No makeup for the first day, no gym or sauna for about 48 hours, because heat and sweat on freshly treated skin is asking for irritation.
Can I combine it with a neuromodulator?
Commonly, yes, though not usually in the same appointment. Sequencing gets planned so neither treatment interferes with the other.
What does it cost?
Priced by area and by package, since it is a series rather than a single session. You get the full number at the consult, and financing is available through Cherry.

Book the series, not the session.

Morpheus8 works because of the protocol. A consult confirms your skin is a fit and maps how many sessions the area actually needs.
