Terms of Service
Last updated: April 6, 2026
1. Service Description
KAYU Health provides telehealth consultations, clinician-prescribed protocols (including peptide therapy, hormone optimization, and restorative medicine), and related services through our platform at kayuhealth.com. All medical services are provided by licensed clinicians.
2. Medical Disclaimer
KAYU is a telehealth platform, not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Our services are not a substitute for in-person emergency care. All prescriptions and protocols require a valid patient-provider relationship established through our consultation process.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and reside in a US state where KAYU operates to use our services. Not all treatments are available in all states. Eligibility for specific medications is determined by your provider based on your medical evaluation, lab results, and clinical history.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
KAYU offers several billing options:
- Consult: one-time $49.99 provider visit with no ongoing commitment; fee credits toward your first month if you join a membership
- Root membership: monthly subscription, includes ongoing provider access and quarterly bloodwork covered by KAYU
- Branch membership: monthly subscription that adds fully-included hormones and a full quarterly panel
- Canopy membership: premium monthly subscription with concierge access, same-day provider replies, and overnight Rx shipping
KAYU bills for provider services, protocol management, and platform access. Your compounding pharmacy bills separately for medication at cost. KAYU does not mark up medication pricing.
All plans are HSA/FSA eligible. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
5. Refund Policy
Your first consultation is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with your initial consult for any reason, contact us within 7 days for a full refund of the consult fee. Medication costs paid to the pharmacy are not refundable through KAYU.
6. Compounded Medications
Some medications prescribed through KAYU are compounded by FDA-regulated 503A pharmacies. Compounded medications are prepared individually for you based on your provider's prescription. They are not FDA-approved drugs. Your provider will explain the regulatory status, risks, and benefits of any compounded medication before prescribing.
7. AI-Assisted Care
KAYU uses AI technology to transcribe consultations, extract clinical data, and generate protocol recommendations. All AI outputs are reviewed and approved by your treating provider before any clinical action is taken. AI does not prescribe medication or make treatment decisions. You may opt out of AI transcription at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
KAYU provides a platform for connecting patients with licensed clinicians. Individual treatment outcomes vary based on adherence, genetics, and clinical factors. KAYU does not guarantee specific results from any protocol or medication.
